Earth Resilient (ER): Treating a Planet in Crisis is a three-part documentary series that explores climate change, pollution, and biodiversity through the stories of people living on the front lines of environmental change.

Combining cinematic, location-based storytelling with expert-led panel discussions, the series examines not only the challenges facing the planet, but also the innovative solutions, resilience, and collective action emerging in response.

The title Earth Resilient — or ER — intentionally evokes the image of an Emergency Room. Just as an ER responds to patients in critical condition, the series views Earth as a planet in crisis that requires diagnosis, intervention, and recovery. However, the focus is not solely on environmental decline; it is equally about resilience, adaptation, and regeneration.

Episode 1 Sicily: Climate Change. An Island under Pressuer travels to the small Sicilian village of Motta D'Affermo, where olive farmer Giuseppe Cuva is confronting a warming Mediterranean firsthand — his olive yield has fallen by 40%, and 75% of his fruit trees have died. His story anchors a wider conversation, as a panel of experts examines the climate crisis unfolding in Sicily and what it reveals about a warming world far beyond the island's shores.
